Arbitration
When contractual disputes hinder the building process and no amicable settlement can be reached, arbitrators take up the decider role. During arbitration proceedings, Leo Grutters acts as presiding arbitrator as well as party-nominated co-arbitrator, independent expert witness, or counsel.
Expert Knowledge
Leo Grutters’ familiarity with the Arbitration Rules and Procedures of the ICC, UNCITRAL, CEPANI, CIArb and LCIA allow him to accept appointments in most international arbitration proceedings, either as chair or as party-nominated member. In addition, he has been appointed in various ad hoc non-institutional proceedings.
He gained his experience in international arbitration involving multi-million dollar disputes in countries such as:
