On October 25th 2013 my book “FIDIC Users’ Guide to the Red, Yellow, Pink and Subcontract Books, 3rd Edition” was published (co-authored with Brian Barr).

In January 2014 I have been invited for a key-note speaker session at the “Wind Farm Conference – 29th January 2014, as well as the Conference for “Advanced Contract Risk Management for the Utility & Power Generation Industry” – 22-24th January 2014.

At the FIDIC Users’ Conference in London (3 & 4 Dec 2013) I presented a paper on the potential pitfalls for the protection of proprietary technology when using the FIDIC Main Works Contracts: RED, YELLOW & SILVER.

At the FIDIC Users’ Conference in London (3 & 4 Dec 2013) I co-presented a paper on the potential need for standardised contracts such as FIDIC in the Off-Shore and renewables industry. The paper was well received by the delegates, indicating an industry interest, if not need.

I successfully completed the FIDIC Assessment Workshop in June 2012, and am admitted to the FIDIC President''s List of Approved Dispute Adjudicators.

I have now successfully completed the DBF "FIDIC Total Immersion Programme". The Programme was organised by the Dispute Board Federation, and was conducted in Dubai from Sep 25th till Oct 2nd 2010. This was in essence a very detailed and in-depth analysis of all the FIDIC standard forms of Contract forming part of the so-called "Rainbow Suite" of Framework Contracts as published from time to time since 1999. It also provided for a detailed look at the pro''s and con''s of a modern day DAB process. It was a pleasure to work with such distinguished people as Giovanni di Folco, Brian Barr, John Wright and Dr. Götz-Sebastian Hök, to name but a few.
